Opened in 1996, this is located at the entrance to the city from the north, next to Praça Água das Maias (“Casa do Sal” roundabout). Crossing the wooden bridge which leads to Monte Formoso, you can observe riverine plant species and a number of birds. The garden is a sunny spot where children can relax and play.
