Church of Santa Justa


The first building, on a different site, dated from the 12th century. The present church was inaugurated in 1724.
The imposing 3-storey facade is flat and is flanked by towers. Inside, the ceiling consists of a single brick vault; the chancel has an important carved Baroque altarpiece from the time of King João V.
