Memorial to Sister Lúcia (Memorial da Irmă Lúcia)


The Memorial is next to the Carmelite Convent of St Teresa; here visitors can see objects used or made by Sister Lúcia throughout her life.

The itinerary covers the time from the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Fátima up to Lúcia’s death, on 13 February 2005, in her cell at the Convent; the visit ends with a replica of the cell. There are also some objects given and used by Pope John Paul II. On request, visitors can see projections of photos of Sister Lúcia.

Sat., Sun. & public holidays: 3 - 6 p.m. (1 Nov. - 1 April: 2 - 5 p.m.)
