 The museum shows the evolution of agricultural activities and technologies. Housed in Coimbra’s Agricultural College (Escola Superior Agrária), it consists of 3 sections: - Teaching Museum – housed in the Casa do Bispo, it has a variety of objects which were once used for teaching at the College. - Museum of Agricultural Machines – shows restored machines and other objects which demonstrate the early stages of agricultural mechanisation. - Wine Museum – housed in the former College cellars, it exhibits various materials related to wine production. Mon. – Fri.: 9 a.m. -12.30 / 2 - 5.30 p.m. Closed Sat., Sun. & public holidays Visits free but must be booked in advance |
